Your emotions are your choice. Others cannot make you feel angry, mad or upset. You are the master of your emotions. You get to choose. Try separating yourself from your emotions. You are not the thought, you are the thinker thinking the thought. The essence of who you are is separate from the emotion. If you can choose how you think, you can choose how you feel.
October 24th - WHEN YOU ARE SELF-DISCIPLINED, YOU CHOOSE POWER IN YOUR LIFE
Self discipline is the ability to do what you should do when you should do it whether you feel like it or not. The end result of self-discipline is freedom for a powerful and engaging life. Take the actions necessary to get what you want from life. This brings you power in your life. 5 steps to self discipline: Remember to be on time, show up, finish what you start, keep your promises and start with the small stuff.
October 31st - BE WHERE YOU ARE! BE IN THE MOMENT!
The purpose of life is to be happy. The way to achieve happiness is to practice gratitude. Write down the things that you are grateful for. Live in the moment and live for today instead of focusing on the future. Bless the things and people around you and give more. The secret to living is giving. When we give, we open our hearts to receive more joy.
