Youth Center
Every child carries something bright and wise inside them. At the Center for Spiritual Living Fort Lauderdale, our Youth Center is a safe, loving place where kids get to explore that spark, make friends, and discover just how capable and loved they already are.
Sundays are for the whole family
Our Youth Center is open every Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, right alongside our Sunday celebration. Drop the kids with our caring teachers and enjoy the service knowing they’re in wonderful hands.
We welcome children of every age, with classrooms grouped so each child learns among peers:
- 6 months – 5 years
- 6 – 9 years
- Pre-teens, 10 – 12 years
- Teens
What we teach
Our classes are built on Science of Mind principles — the same teaching at the heart of everything we do — shared in ways that are playful, hands-on, and full of joy. We help children build a genuine inner connection with Spirit and grow the character traits that carry them through life: compassion, creativity, respect, and integrity.
Along the way, kids explore:
- Core values
- Life skills and strategies
- Problem solving
- Making good choices
- Self-awareness and self-esteem
How they grow
We teach our young people to believe in themselves and to trust their own intuition and inner wisdom. Children learn that Spirit lives in and moves through all of creation — and that they get to be creative partners with it. We nurture that natural curiosity through practices they’ll carry for a lifetime:
- Affirmations
- Meditation
- Arts, crafts, and music
- Service and community
