Terms of Use
The rules for using our website, app and online services — including events and tickets, giving, text messages and how we share our teachings.
Effective October 6, 2026 · Last updated October 6, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of cslftlauderdale.org, our mobile app and related online services (together, the “Site”), operated by Center for Spiritual Living Fort Lauderdale (“CSL Fort Lauderdale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who may use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian, to register for events, buy tickets, give, rent space or create an account. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Our content and spiritual teaching
All content on the Site — including text, teachings, recordings, livestreams, images, logos, graphics, videos and design — is owned by or licensed to CSL Fort Lauderdale or Centers for Spiritual Living and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, download and share content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. You may not copy, sell, republish, rebroadcast or create derivative works from our content, sermons or livestreams without written permission.
Teachings, prayers, classes and other spiritual content are shared for spiritual and educational purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. Always seek a qualified professional for those needs.
4. Events, classes and tickets
- Event details — dates, times, performers, prices and availability — may change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees of significant changes.
- Tickets are for the event, date and time shown and may not be resold for more than face value.
- Refunds: unless an event says otherwise, ticket purchases are non-refundable, except that if we cancel an event you will receive a full refund. If we postpone, your ticket will be honored for the new date or refunded on request.
- Some tickets are sold through third parties (such as Fellowship One); their terms and refund policies apply to those purchases.
- We may refuse admission or remove anyone whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe or inconsistent with a respectful, welcoming environment.
- Seating is general admission unless stated. Doors and house opening times are posted on each event page.
5. Giving and donations
Gifts and donations are voluntary and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review your request. We are a nonprofit religious organization; please consult your tax advisor about the deductibility of your gift. Gifts are used at the discretion of the organization in support of our mission. Designated gifts are honored where possible; if a designated purpose cannot be fulfilled, the gift may be applied where it is most needed. Online giving is processed by our giving partner and governed by its terms.
6. Space rentals
Information about renting our space on the Site is for general information only and is not an offer. Rentals are confirmed only by a signed rental agreement, which governs pricing, deposits, insurance, use, cancellations and responsibilities.
7. Mailing list and text messages
If you join our mailing list or opt in to text messages, you agree to receive messages from us as described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts and HELP for help, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Consent is not a condition of attending, purchasing or giving.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- submit false information, impersonate anyone, or register or buy tickets for fraudulent purposes;
- send spam or harmful code, or try to access accounts, systems or data without permission;
- scrape, copy or harvest content or personal information;
- post or send content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene or disrespectful of our community.
9. Your submissions
When you send us prayer requests, comments, testimonials, photos or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to respond to you and, with your permission where required, to share it with our community. We do not publish prayer requests without permission.
10. Photography and recording
Services and events may be photographed, recorded and livestreamed. By attending, you consent to the use of your image and voice as described in our Privacy Policy. Please ask a staff member if you prefer not to be photographed.
11. Third-party links and services
The Site links to and relies on third-party websites and services, including ticketing, giving, livestream, maps and social media. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
12. Disclaimers
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSL Fort Lauderdale, Centers for Spiritual Living, and our ministers, staff, practitioners, volunteers and board members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a ticket purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for the ticket or service giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless CSL Fort Lauderdale and its ministers, staff, volunteers and board members from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use of the Site means you accept the changes. We may suspend or end access to the Site, or any part of it, at any time. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, with our Privacy Policy and any event or rental agreements, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
